Galveston Island is the go-to destination……. For crystal clear blue water! I know Galveston Isn’t known for its blue water, it’s a rare chance we ever see it, and when we do it definitely makes headlines.  One thing we can guarantee in Galveston is a maintained clean beach. Galveston Island makes sure to do all it can to preserve our wildlife. In 2018 Galveston Island started “ Leave No Trace”. Since this was started the number of beach gear left on the beach overnight has decreased by multitudes.

Hundreds of volunteers were a part of the Clean Galveston Adopt-A-Beach coastwide spring cleanup on April 9th. Since this program began more than 479,000 volunteers have come out and removed over 17 million pounds of trash off of the Texas coastline.

Due to the patterns in the Gulf of Mexico, trash dumped in the gulf is most likely to end up on a Texas coastline.  Every morning you can see workers or volunteers picking up trash on the beach making sure that visitors have the cleanest beaches possible.

Keep our shores clean by reminding friends, family, and visitors to “Leave No Trace “and never leave anything overnight.

So maybe we don’t always have blue water. But we work to make sure we have beautiful beaches.

This is why Galveston’s Beach Gear Set up & Take Down Service is here to take care of your canopies and chairs at the end of the day. No stress for you and clean beaches for everyone!

Galveston Golf cart rentals have really taken off the last few years. It is a great way to cruise around the neighborhood with your friends or family. They are also very nice to have when you are taking loads of “beach gear” down to the sand. There are many beach parking areas on the west end of the island where you can pull onto the sand and park. It makes taking the family to the beach with the canopy, cooler, chairs, and beach toys easy. Several of the west end neighborhoods also have attractions to check out on the golf cart. If you are staying in Sea Isle for example, you can cruise over to the marina and restaurant for a quick bite, or take the family for a nice dinner. Golf carts are a real experience and it combines the best of driving an open air vehicle and enjoying the beach vibes on Galveston island.

Gulf Coast Concirge has several rental options for Galveston Golf carts and they have both weekend, multi day, and weekly rentals. They have over 30 carts to choose from, including 4 passenger and 6 passenger. They are all one or two years old and well maintained. Don’t miss this exciting rental on your next stay in Galveston.

Getting around like a local

Locals love to get from place to place in style, especially on the west end of the island. They can get from
their house to the beach, and back to the restaurant without having to “drive”. The golf cart is good
family entertainment, but also functional and can haul all the gear to the beach. Renting a golf cart is a
great way to get around Galveston while you are visiting the island. They are affordable and available in
various time frames. Many vendors along the seawall will rent by the hour, but you can also rent them
for up to a week at a time. There are 4 seat carts as well as larger 6 and 8 passenger golf carts. Many on
the island have “lifts” and bigger beach tires. However they are set up, golf carts make for a great addon
to any trip in Galveston.

Galveston golf cart rentals are a great way to enjoy the “island life” here on Galveston Island. Locals love cruising in their golf carts on the west end of Galveston Island and taking them to the beach. In many locations you can pull onto the beach and park. This makes it easy to get the family, gear, and drinks to the beach! Most Galveston golf carts come in 4 passenger or 6 passenger versions. Gulf Coast concierge has over 30 golf carts to choose from including both 4 and 6 passenger carts. Come live the island lifestyle on your next vacation.
