Galveston Golf Carts
Getting around like a local
Locals love to get from place to place in style, especially on the west end of the island. They can get from
their house to the beach, and back to the restaurant without having to “drive”. The golf cart is good
family entertainment, but also functional and can haul all the gear to the beach. Renting a golf cart is a
great way to get around Galveston while you are visiting the island. They are affordable and available in
various time frames. Many vendors along the seawall will rent by the hour, but you can also rent them
for up to a week at a time. There are 4 seat carts as well as larger 6 and 8 passenger golf carts. Many on
the island have “lifts” and bigger beach tires. However they are set up, golf carts make for a great addon
to any trip in Galveston.
